Dr Vasant is a highly experienced clinician with a special interest in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry. He carries out his work from his Central London clinic and Postgraduate Institute, Freshdental Clinic and institute. He has trained under some of the world’s leading clinicians and academics in aesthetic dentistry.

He qualified from the University of Leeds in 2003 and subsequently completed a postgraduate Master of Science degree in Aesthetic & Restorative dentistry from the University of Manchester.

He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (GDP), a faculty member of the gIDE Institute in Los Angeles and a member of the British & American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is Invisalign’s UK ambassador and one of their main global GDP Trainers and clinical speakers.

In addition, he is a visiting guest lecturer at the University of Geneva – teaching on the Master’s programme in Micro-invasive Aesthetic Dentistry. He lectures globally on many aspects of minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry with a specific interest in adhesive and advanced restorative dentistry.

His two day independent composite bonding masterclass course entitled “Totally Composite” is one of the leading courses of its type. It is held throughout the UK as well as internationally and has trained over 2000 dentists worldwide since its inception in 2015.

This is alongside his year long postgraduate programme on all aspects of minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry entitled “Totally Aesthetics” and a similar course for dental therapists called ‘Totally Therapist”. Delegates who complete all his courses can also qualify for one of the two level 7 Postgraduate diplomas in aesthetic dentistry that his Freshdental Institute offers.

He is a key opinion leader for several dental companies including Coltene, Invisalign, 3M, GC, Deppeler He has appeared numerous times in the UK mainstream media on TV programmes such as “GMTV” “This Morning” with Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, “The One Show”, “ITN News”, “Gok’s Style secrets” swell as numerous print media articles.

He has also co-authored several dental books including his own book “Smile Art”. Outside of work he spends his time with his lovely wife and two young children and is an avid football and cricket fan.
